A December sunset. Surfing in Melbourne Beach has a certain charm. Seeing the sunset from the lineup is a special treat Shared by many of the town residents. To see a sky like this means much more than one more wave before dark is not likely. Hope its a good one.

 Seeing the Indialantic water tower indicates a good swell and you are on the outside. Chances are good you will get a five or six turn wave. In the old days you could see your neighbors on the second floor balcony of the Boomerang lounge. You could go up for a casual dinner or a cold drink after your session. It was common to see the same faces up there all the time.  It all added up to make the surf and your session seem sweeter!
